FORT BEND COUNTY Investigators in Fort Bend County say they ve busted a burglary ring that was using Facebook to plan their crimes and sell the stolen loot.

They say the five suspects were stealing from their own neighbors in the Mission Bend Subdivision, where they targeted 11 homes in the last two years. They stole everything from jewelry to electronics.

Some of the items have been recovered and returned to the rightful owners.

A citizen alerted the sheriff s department about the posts on Facebook.

Folks in the neighborhood are angry about the brazen bandits who also stole their sense of security.

It s scary sometimes. We don t even go out at night, said a woman who was too frightened to show her face.

One neighbor told us burglaries have been a big problem in the area. She said someone tried to break into her home while she was inside.

I showed him my gun and he took off, she said.

Three suspects, 18-year-old Alex Bello, 18-year-old Ricardo Flores and 20-year-old Johnny Rodgers, were arrested this week. All are being held on $40,000 bonds.

Deputies are still looking for 18-year-old Jonathon Chavez and 17-year-old Bryan Rubio.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the teens.
