AUSTIN, Texas-- On Thursday, University of Texas regents are expected to approve a four-year fixed rate tuition for all of its campuses.
The locked rate will likely be higher than current rates.
The program would start with incoming freshmen in the fall of 2014.
Some campuses, like UT Dallas, already have a fixed tuition option.
The goal is to help famillies plan expenses and to encourage students to graduate in four years.
