HOUSTON Investigators said early Thursday it appeared a northeast Houston house fire started at four different points within the home.

It was reported around 2:40 a.m. on Collingsworth Street at Kashmere Street, according to the Houston Fire Department.

HFD said they found heavy flames shooting from several different sides of the home, which was empty and up for sale.

They made a fast attack and got it under control.

Arson investigators are looking over the property to see what started the blaze. They said it looked like someone used gasoline to start the fire.
