HOUSTON Three burglary suspects were arrested after a neighbor spotted a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a home and called a law enforcement officer who lives nearby.

Around 11:10 a.m., a neighbor alerted another neighbor, an off-duty Galveston County Deputy Constable, after noticing an unfamiliar vehicle backed up to a home on the 12800 block of Kingston Point.

The deputy was able to arrest one suspect within the Regal Oaks subdivision and called for Houston police, who assisted in the capture of the other two suspects.

It s a very good neighborhood. People work hard for what they have and there s always someone out looking and they take the neighborhood watch very seriously, said Deputy K. Phillips of the Galveston County Sheriff s office.

The suspects arrested include a 16-year-old, a 19-year old and a 22-year old.

Investigators are still looking into whether the suspects are connected to other burglaries in the area.
