HOUSTON A local man who says DNA evidence proves he s innocent of a burglary says he deserves to be exonerated.

Reginald Matthews spent 14 years in prison for burglary and he s been on parole for nine years.

But he claims he saw a file in the district attorney's office that says DNA found on clothing at the scene of the crime doesn t match him.

Community activists are calling on the district attorney's office to help Matthews clear his name.

The district attorney's office says it s looking into the case.
