HOUSTON--Today may have been the first day of fall, but Houston is going to have to wait a little bit longer for cool weather, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

We re back into the 70 degree lows at night and a little more humidity than we would like. Temperatures and the dewpoint are going to inch upwards over the next few days.

Sunday will start off with some patchy ground fog that will dissipate shortly after sunrise. Highs are above average for this time of year 90 in Pearland, 91 in Conroe and 91 in Houston.

There aren t any cold fronts in the 7-day forecast, but there may be some cloud cover when a slight chance of rain returns at the end of the next work week.
