HOUSTON Trey Sesler, the young Waller man accused of killing his parents and brother, sat in jail Wednesday as a private funeral service was held for his family.
Sesler was arrested last Tuesday, just hours after police found the bodies of his parents Lawton Ray and Rhonda Wyse Sesler and his brother, 26-year-old Mark Alan Sesler, at their home in Waller.
Police said the 22-year-old man has confessed to the crimes. Investigators said Sesler was planning a Columbine-style attack at a local school, and told police investigators he killed his family to save them from the shame.
Sesler is charged with capital murder.
