HOUSTON- The Memorial Mustangs move to 4-1 with their win Tuesday night, out muscling Mayde Creek at Memorial High School. Matt Staff and Jupjee Kochar lead the way for the Memorial, making their presence felt in the Mustangs 49-41 victory.

Memorial "Big Man" Matt Staff dominated the Rams down low scoring only 10 points but hauling in countless rebounds, and swatting several would be shooters. Jupjee Kochar ran the floor for memorial at the guard position spreading the ball around and leading the Mustangs in scoring with 17 points.

The Mustangs had a major home court advantage with the "Swearin' Sailors" making some serious noise and hearing problems for Mayde Creek.

Stand out performer for Mayde Creek was #44 Aaron Turner who racked up 16 points in a losing effort.
