VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia -- While many people are enjoying the snowy weather, it's not a fun day for a Va. Beach family.

One of the trees in their yard uprooted and fell on their house during the snowfall.

The home has been condemned, according to a placard on the door.

The residents were inside the Prince Andrew Lane home; however, no one was injured when the tree fell, Battalion Chief Amy Valdez told WVEC.com.

The house was not safe to stay in overnight due to structural issues and threat of ceiling collapse, she added.

The placard shows the house is considered unsafe and the Fire Marshal is investigating.
