HARRIS COUNTY -- Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff s Office are searching for the suspects who robbed an area grocery store.
Officials said on Sunday, deputies responded to a robbery call originating from the grocer located on the 11200 block of Perry Road in northwest Harris County.
Authorities said around 12:05 a.m., two Hispanic males, wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas stormed the store.
The first suspect, who carried a shotgun, leaped over the counter, and through the protective glass enclosure. He began to hit the victim as the second suspect demanded cash from the register.
The victim surrendered about $400 in cash, which the second suspect placed into a backpack. Both suspects then ran away.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 17 and 20 years. He s between 6 1 -6 2 and weighs 160-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and a red bandana covering his face.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 17-20 years. He s between 5 7 -5 11 and weighs 190-220 pounds. He was last seen a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and a red bandana covering his face.
The robbery was captured by the store s surveillance system.
