HOUSTON - Police said three men wearing ski masks stabbed a man at his southwest Houston apartment Wednesday night.

It happened around 10 p.m. on Town Park Drive at S. Gessner Road, according to the Houston Police Department.

HPD said the victim was stabbed twice in the back for unknown reasons. Investigators do not believe the attack was the result of a home invasion or robbery.

The victim was said to be in stable condition at Ben Taub Hospital.

The suspects fled the scene.
