MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas A man and a teenage girl were found dead inside a home near Kingwood Wednesday afternoon.

The Montgomery County Sheriff s Department said the victims are 43 and 15.

It s not clear how they died, but investigators say there is no sign of foul play.

A Montgomery County Sheriff on the scene reported that it was an overdose, and that a small amount of narcotics was found nearby.

The man s father, who didn t want to give his name, said his son told him he and the girl were going to see a movie Tuesday night.

The father became concerned when he couldn t reach his son Wednesday morning.

I came over and nobody responded to a little light knock on the door. I saw that the car was OK, no dents in it so I figured he was just sleeping something off, he said.

The dead man s sister also went to the house later in the day and found the lifelessbodies.

I don t think any parent should have their children go before them, the father said. I just don t think that s a good feeling at all.

The man said his son had a history of alcohol problems but had been trying to get sober.

The dead man was renting a room at the home in the 21400 block of Rosemill. It s not clear what his relationship was with the girl.
