AUSTIN, Texas Jazzmin Jackson had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and gave Mansfield Summit the lead for good with 2:17 to play to lift Summit to a 40-37 win over Mont Belvieu Barbers Hill in the girls Class 4A state semifinals.

Eli Ashley made one of two free throws with 4 seconds left for a 3-point cushion for Summit (36-3) before Barbers Hill s Shannon Evans missed a desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Kendall Shaw, who has signed to play at Vanderbilt in college, had 13 points and 13 rebounds for Barbers Hill (38-4). Her turnaround jumper gave Barber s Hill a 37-36 lead before Jackson converted a 3-point play. Summit trailed 26-19 in the third before ripping off a 15-0 run to set up a tense fourth quarter.
