MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- In the early morning hours of Dec. 14, 2009, Shooter s Station, a gun store, located on SH 105 just west of Conroe was burglarized and 81 firearms were stolen.

The Montgomery County Sheriff s Office along with agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) began an investigation which led them to the Bryan/College Station, Texas area.

Assisted by the Bryan Police Department, Brazos County Sheriff s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety CID, investigators recovered approximately 27 of the stolen guns. The investigation led to the arrest and successful prosecution in Federal Court of 5 people, all from the Bryan / College Station, Texas area.

Ronald Gibbs B/M 46 years of age. Sentenced to 120 months, 36 months probation and $5000 restitution

Anray Atkins B/M 37 years of age. Sentenced to 36 months, 36 months probation

Sherman Darnell B/M 36 years of age. Sentenced to 32 months, 36 months probation

Arthur Garner B/M 36 years of age. Sentenced to 53 months, 36 months probation

Montrace Pier B/M 23 years of age. Sentenced to 41 months, 36 months probation, and $5000 restitution
