Houston Super Regional set for Lady Cougars

IRVING, Texas - The NCAA announced the game times for the 2008 NCAA Houston Super Regional which will feature Houston playing host to nationally ranked Louisiana-Lafayette.
Game one of the Super Regional is slated for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23.

The second game between the two squads is set for Noon on Saturday, May 24, with the "if necessary" game to follow at 3:00 p.m.

The Lady Cougars breezed through the NCAA Regional series this past weekend.

The No. 8 National Seed Houston Cougars will be the home team in game one. The Cajuns will be the designated home team in game two on Saturday.

Should the Super Regional need a game three, the home team will be determined by a coin flip.
The Cajuns and Cougars met earlier this season with the two teams splitting the two games.

Houston halted the Cajuns' 18-game winning streak with a 2-0 victory in the first game of a doubleheader on April 30. Louisiana responded with a 4-0 shutout win in the nightcap of the twin bill.
