The Super Bowl of Texans fans

How the "Tailgater of the Year" tailgate team wins at Texans games.

HOUSTON - Texans fans are pumped up about Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears because for the first time in franchise history, the team heads into the regular season with an undefeated pre-season record.

The award winning Big H Tailgaters are predicting the Texans will go to the Super Bowl this year. That would be awfully convenient since the big game early next year will be played in Houston at NRG stadium.

The Big H Tailgaters know something about "shocking the world." A couple of years ago, they improbably won the coveted title of Texans' Tailgating Team of the Year. Their team is a small family group without big name sponsors.

Their tailgating spot is tucked so far back on NRG's Blue Lot that during most years the judges never laid eyes on them because they never made it back to their section.

However the team remained inspired by their patriarch Hank Garza, who told them to never give up.

Hank suddenly contracted pneumonia and passed away. In his honor, his family rallied themselves and returned to their tailgating tradition. The very first game at which they made their return,  they took home the Tailgater of the Game award. Later that season, they won Tailgaters of the Year!
