Johnathan Joseph, 3 others held out of Texans practice

Cornerback Johnathan Joseph was among four Houston Texans who missed Wednesday’s practice session in advance of Sunday’s game in Los Angeles. Joseph is nursing a lingering knee issue, but it is not expected to keep him out versus the Rams.

Tight end Ryan Griffin is out with a concussion, his second of the 2017 season. He could miss extended time, just as C.J. Fiedorowicz returns to the roster from his own concussion.

Defensive lineman Joel Heath continues to struggle with a knee and quadriceps injury. Chunky Clements was promoted to the active roster in part to take his spot.

Rookie linebacker Dylan Cole is still out with his Grade 2 hamstring strain that is expected to keep him sidelined for at least one more week, if not longer.
