HOUSTON—On July 28, the Houston Texans will open training camp at Reliant Park and take the field for the first time in preparation for the 2012 season.

That practice season will be the first of six open to the public. All open practices will begin at 8 a.m. and gates will be open to fans starting at 7 a.m.

Free tickets can be printed from the Texan’s official website, beginning at 8 a.m., Wednesday July 18 with a limit of four per person, per practice.

Tickets for the July 30 practice will be available exclusively at Houston-area Academy Sports Outdoors locations while supplies last. Bleacher seating at each practice session is first-come, first-served.

Guests are encouraged to bring school supplies to be donated to the Houston Texans YMCA for distribution.

Each practice session will have a theme, including Battle Red Day, Liberty White Out, Youth Day, Salute to Service, Deep Steel Sunday and Fan Appreciation Day.

Free parking is available north of the Methodist Training Center off of McNee Rd. in the Purple Lot.
