HOUSTON - The best way to silence your critics? Have a career game.
Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson had more than 70 yards in just the first quarter and was no where close to finished.
After Johnson caught the game winner in overtime he had racked up a personal best 273 yards on 14 catches.
Texans Quarterback Matt Schaub is at the top of his game and Johnson said he is feeling healthy after a knee surgery and that makes for quite a combo.
"It means a lot," Johnson said. "Like I said before, I've been telling you guys I've been feeling better and better every week. Maybe you guys will believe me after that."
Johnson and the Texans will have a short week to prepare for the Detroit Lions after Sunday's emotional win.
The Texans will play the Lions on Thanksgiving Day which kicks off at 11:30 a.m. on KHOU 11.
Pre-game coverage starts at 11 a.m. following the 63rd annual Houston Holiday Parade Presented by H-E-B.
