HOUSTON—A judge sentenced former Houston Rocket Jordan Hill Thursday to one year probation after he plead no contest. to assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
Hill, who now plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, will also have to pay a $500 fine, go to counseling and make a donation to the Harris County Violence Fund.
His ex- girlfriend said he threw her against a wall during an argument in February.
The Rockets traded Hill to the Lakers in March.
