Texans’ Watt to throw Opening Day first pitch

HOUSTON – Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has been a busy man this off-season.

He’s made fans dreams come true through social media, he visited the troops overseas in the Middle East and now, he’s taking to the baseball diamond.

The Astros announced on Tuesday that the Defensive Player of the Year has been selected to throw out the first pitch before the team’s opener against the Texas Rangers on March 31st.

Watt, who is huge baseball fan, has donned the Astros colors since being picked by the Texans in 2011. He even wore a retro Craig Biggio jersery during one his press conferences after the Hall of Fame vote.
