HOUSTON – Former Houston Astros star Craig Biggio has dedicated his time after pro ball to coaching the baseball team over at St. Thomas High School.
However, he could soon add something a little bigger to his resume: Baseball Hall of Famer.
Biggio is eligible for induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame next season and many believe could get in the first time he appears on the ballot. His 3,000+ hits are sure to help his candidacy for the baseball’s most exclusive club and he’s hopeful he gets the call.
KHOU 11 Sports anchor Butch Alsandor caught up with the Astros legend recently to chat about the Hall of Fame and his time with St. Thomas.
