HOUSTON - Houston is 6-5-5 (23 points) after 16 games. The Fire is 8-5-3 (27 points) through 16 games for a four-point lead on the Dynamo for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

The Dynamo earned a 2-1 win over Philadelphia on Saturday with goals from Brad Davis and Brian Ching and the debut of newly acquired Honduras international Boniek Garcia, who contributed an assist. The Fire posted its third consecutive win on Friday, a 1-0 triumph at Sporting Kansas City.

The Dynamo and Fire drew 1-1 on April 15 in the first meeting of 2012 in a match that was suspended in the 66th minute due to a lightning storm.

Dynamo forward Brian Ching scored his 79th career MLS regular season goal with his game-winning penalty on Saturday vs. Philadelphia. Ching is tied with Preki for 14th on the all-time MLS scoring list.

Midfielder Brad Davis’ goal on Saturday was his 25th regular season goal with the Dynamo. He moved past Dwayne De Rosario into second on the Dynamo franchise list.

The Dynamo have not lost a home game in over a year, with their last home defeat on June 18, 2011, a 2-0 loss to the Columbus Crew. The Dynamo are unbeaten in 15 consecutive home games (playoffs included), spanning the final nine games at Robertson Stadium and the first six games at BBVA Compass Stadium.
