AUSTIN, Texas -- The University Interscholastic League says no Texas high school athletes tested positive for steroids during the spring semester.
Between January and May of 2010, 207 schools took part in the latest round of tests. More than 3,300 students were checked.
It is the first time since the state legislature mandated testing in 2007 that no students tested positive.
The UIL says the legislature appropriated $1 million for testing during the last school year.
