HOUSTON - St. Pius pitcher Kohl Stewart has had quite the year.

"I’ve gotten to do more than most kids have done," says Stewart.

For 12 months, the multi-sport star has basically been on display. He’s committed to play quarterback at Texas A&M, but Kohl is also projected to be Top 10 pick in this year’s MLB Draft.

Two great accomplishments. Only one is possible.

He could either play for Kevin Sumlin or start his pro career which could bring a signing bonus of close to $6 million.

Stewart has been invited to the draft in New Jersey next month, but hasn’t decided whether or not he will attend. For now, he’s focused on winning a state championship with the Panthers.

KHOU 11 Sports reporter Daniel Gotera has his story.
