KATY – The Seven Lakes baseball team is the third-ranked team in the state and is arguably the best in the Houston-area. It’s an amazing accomplishment considering the school itself hasn’t even been around very long. Chad Payne and his staff have dedicated to bring in the best student-athletes to make their team not only dominant on the field, but also great people off of it. The Spartans took down Milby 14-0 in Game 1 of their Best of 3 first round playoff series on Thursday night. That is just the beginning for what they hope is a run to a state championship.
