East Bernard Brahmas win state

The East Bernard Eagles won the Class 2A Division II State Championship after they defeated the Mildred Brahmas 56-14 on Thursday night at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Head coach Jerry Long and the Eagles capped off an undefeated season at 15-0 with Thursday night’s victory over the Brahmas. Mildred finished the season 13-2.

HOUSTON – The East Bernard Brahmas won the Class 2A Division II State Championship after they defeated the Mildred Eagles 56-14 on Thursday night at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

Head coach Jerry Long and the Brahmas capped off an undefeated season at 15-0 with Thursday night’s victory over the Eagles. Mildred finished the season 13-2.
