HOUSTON - They have had one of the worst seasons that many can remember, but the North Shore Mustangs still believed they can get to their ultimate goal of a state title game and championship.

The Brazoswood Buccaneers had other ideas.

Brazoswood came into Galena Park ISD Stadium on Friday night and upset the heavily favored North Shore Mustangs 7-3.

The mustangs took a 3-0 lead into the half, but defense was the story for the whole game. Brazoswood then took their first possession of the second half and marched it all the way down the field. On a 4th down play from the 33 yard line, the Bucs called a pitch play to Rickey Lunford who took it to the house, giving them the lead and they wouldn't look back.
