AUSTIN -- Dominique Smith scored 13 points, leading four Dallas Madison players in double figures in a 68-58 win Thursday over Stafford in the Class 3A semifinals.

Nick Moore added 11 points for Madison (32-4), which got the surge it needed to pull away late in the second quarter and never let Stafford (30-6) threaten the lead in the second half. Simeon Brinkley and Timothy Flentroy hit consecutive 3-pointers in a 10-0 run that put Madison up 33-18 going into halftime.

Maurice Wiltz scored 22 points and Phillip Pete scored 18 for Stafford.
