A Borussia Dortmund player was injured when three explosions went off near the team's bus Tuesday.
The German soccer team was scheduled to play Monaco in a Champions League match.
The team retweeted a police statement that said the explosion occurred shortly after 7 p.m. local time, but there were no further details about the explosion.
According to the Guardian, Spanish player Marc Bartra was injured and taken to the hospital.
Fans were waiting in the stadium as news of the incident spread before it was announced that the game was postponed until Wednesay.
Police said on Twitter that there was "no indication" that fans in the stadium were in danger.
