If you're still undecided as to who you might vote for in next Tuesday's presidential election, the Gig 'Em Party, led by three Texas A&M quarterbacks, has joined the race.
A&M backup QB and presidential candidate Conner McQueen, his running mate, starter Trevor Knight and fellow backup and Speaker of the House Jake Hubenak showed up at the Aggies' press conference on Tuesday and announced McQueen's candidacy, even though none of them are old enough to actually run for president. They faced some hard hitting questions; for instance, if elected, would they impose an executive order to make Texas A&M and Texas renew their rivalry on the gridiron?
"I think right now we're mainly focusing on the grass roots of our campaign," McQueen said. "Looking forward, that may be something to reach out to our constituents about, and see what they have to say about the situation."
The Gig 'Em Party's announcement came mere hours before the Aggies were ranked fourth in the initial College Football Playoff rankings, and four days before Texas A&M is set to face Mississippi State in Starkville on Saturday.
