Rice Owls ranked 24th in the nation

The Rice Owls women's cross country team, under the direction of head coach Jim Bevan, is currently ranked 24th in the NCAA by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. It is the second straight week that the team has been rated among the nation's elite. The Owls placed eighth last Friday at the Notre Dame Invitational beating then-ranked teams #10 Illinois, #18 New Mexico, #21 Texas Tech, and #28 North Carolina.
Rice competes this Friday at the HBU Invitational.
