Kansas State shakes off Wake Forest, advances in NCAA tournament First Four

After barely squeaking into the field of 68 as a bubble team, Kansas State made the most of its opportunity by holding off Wake Forest, 95-88, in a battle of No. 11 seeds in the First Four at Dayton. It's the program's first NCAA tournament win in five years.

The Wildcats (21-13) advance to the first round to face Cincinnati on Friday at 7:27 p.m. ET.

KSU senior wing Wesley Iwundu led the Wildcats with 22 points, six rebounds and seven assists. John Collins paced the Demon Deacons with 24 points.
