Chris Rainey scored from 8 yards out after the Bulldogs stumbled on a fake punt and Dustin Doe may have slipped a fumble on an interception return for a touchdown past the referees as the second-ranked Gators came away with a tough win, 29-19 over old friend Dan Mullen Saturday night.
# 2 Alabama 12, Tennessee 10, FINAL
---TUSCALOOSA, Ala.-Mammoth Terrence Cody and little Leigh Tiffin saved Alabama's perfect record.
Cody blocked a 44-yard field-goal attempt on the final play, his second blocked field goal in the fourth quarter, and the Crimson Tide escaped with a 12-10 victory over rival Tennessee on Saturday. Cody broke through the line on the last play and practically ran into Daniel Lincoln's low kick.
# 3 Texas 41, Missouri 7, FINAL
---COLUMBIA, Mo.-Colt McCoy completed his first 11 passes and produced touchdowns on No. 3 Texas' first three drives, helping to put Missouri away early in a 41-7 victory on Saturday night.
McCoy matched his season best with three touchdown passes, two of them to Jordan Shipley, while Texas' defense blocked a punt for a score in a nearly flawless first half that produced a 35-7 lead.

---CINCINNATI-Standing on the sideline in a sweat suit and baseball cap, injured quarterback Tony Pike watched his backup do a nearly perfect job.
Sophomore Zach Collaros threw only two incompletions while passing for 253 yards and three touchdowns Saturday, steadying fifth-ranked Cincinnati to a 41-10 victory over Louisville in the Bearcats' first game without their marquee quarterback.
# 6 Iowa 15, Michigan State 13, FINAL
---EAST LANSING, Mich.-Ricky Stanzi connected with Marvin McNutt for a 7-yard touchdown pass as time expired and No. 7 Iowa remained undefeated with a 15-13 victory against Michigan State on Saturday night.
The Hawkeyes are 8-0 for the first time in school history and have sole possession of first place in the Big Ten at 4-0. Iowa, sixth in the BCS standings, has won 12 straight dating back to last season, the second-longest streak in the nation.
# 7 USC 42, Oregon State 36, FINAL
---LOS ANGELES-Allen Bradford rushed for a career-high 147 yards and two touchdowns, and No. 4 Southern California avenged its only loss of last season with a 42-36 victory over Oregon State on Saturday night.
Damian Williams returned a fourth-quarter punt 63 yards for a touchdown for the Trojans (6-1, 3-1 Pac-10), whose 27-21 loss to the Beavers last September prevented them from playing for the national title.

---PROVO, Utah-Andy Dalton passed for 241 yards and three touchdowns and No. 10 TCU remained unbeaten with a 38-7 win over 16th-ranked BYU on Saturday.
The Horned Frogs (7-0, 3-0 Mountain West) continued their march to what they hope is a BCS berth with their eighth straight victory and routed the Cougars (6-2, 3-1) for the second year in a row.

---BATON ROUGE, La.-Jordan Jefferson followed the worst game of his young career with his best.
Jefferson threw for a career-high 236 yards, including two touchdown passes, and scrambled for another score to lead No. 9 LSU to a 31-10 victory over Auburn on Saturday night.
#10 Miami 37, Clemson 40, FINAL/OT
---MIAMI-Kyle Parker threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Ford in overtime, giving Clemson a 40-37 win over No. 8 Miami on Saturday night.
Matt Bosher kicked a 22-yard field goal on Miami's overtime possession, but on third-and-11, Parker's third TD pass of the night gave the Tigers (4-3, 3-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) their first win over a ranked opponent in nine games-and dealt Miami's ACC hopes a serious blow. C.J. Spiller had a 90-yard kickoff return and 56-yard catch for another Clemson score.
#11 Oregon 43, Washington 19, FINAL
---SEATTLE-Jeremiah Masoli returned from a knee injury to run for two scores, No. 12 Oregon blocked a punt for a touchdown and used a fake field goal to set up another TD, and the Ducks overwhelmed border rival Washington 43-19 on Saturday.
Oregon extended its dominance of Washington to six straight- longest in the history of the series-and like the previous five this one wasn't close. Oregon took advantage of Washington's mistakes and the Ducks' defense forced three turnovers, corralled Jake Locker and didn't let the Huskies into the end zone until the fourth quarter.
#12 Georgia Tech 34, Virginia 9, FINAL
---CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- It was a drive that took forever, or at least it felt like it. Eighteen plays. Eighty-two yards. A game-sapping 10:47 off the clock, the longest in the 21 years that Georgia Tech has been regularly keeping such a stat.
There were 17 runs, only one pass, and it came on a rainy day at the start of the second half. It's a wonder Virginia had any energy left to keep playing.
#13 Penn State 35, Michigan 10, FINAL
---ANN ARBOR, Mich.-Daryll Clark threw three of his four touchdown passes to Graham Zug, helping No. 13 Penn State beat Michigan 35-10 for its first win at the Big House since 1996.
The Nittany Lions (7-1, 3-1 Big Ten) shut down the Wolverines (5-3, 1-3) Saturday after they opened with a 70-yard TD drive.

#15 Oklahoma State 34, Baylor 7, FINAL
---WACO, Texas ?-- Zac Robinson completed 23 of 27 passes for 250 yards with three touchdowns and No. 14 Oklahoma State stretched its winning streak to five games with a 34-7 victory over Baylor on Saturday.
The Cowboys (6-1, 3-0 Big 12), who have won their last four games without injured running back Kendall Hunter or suspended receiver Dez Bryant, led 10-0 after their first two possessions.? They made it 24-0 on Robinson's 19-yard TD to Cooper Bassett that capped an 87-yard drive to open the second half.
#17 Houston 38, SMU 15, FINAL
---HOUSTON-Charles Sims ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns and No. 17 Houston took advantage of the turnover-prone SMU Mustangs for a 38-15 win on Saturday night.
The Cougars (6-1, 2-1 Conference USA) jumped out to a 14-0 lead after converting two SMU turnovers and cruised to the victory in their first home game in almost a month.
#18 Utah 23, Air Force 16, FINAL/OT
---SALT LAKE CITY-Stevenson Sylvester stuffed Connor Dietz on a fourth-down quarterback keeper to preserve No. 19 Utah's 23-16 overtime victory over Air Force on Saturday.
On fourth-and-2 at the 7, Dietz pulled the ball from the fullback and tried the same play that had worked all game long. This time, Sylvester appeared in the running lane and brought Dietz down for no gain.
#19 Ohio State 38, Minnesota 7, FINAL
---COLUMBUS, Ohio-Terrelle Pryor threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead No. 18 Ohio State to a 38-7 win over Minnesota on Saturday.
A week after a devastating 26-18 loss at two-touchdown underdog Purdue, the Buckeyes (6-2, 4-1 Big Ten) made Minnesota (4-4, 2-3) pay for its bad plays. The Golden Gophers had two major misplays in the secondary and two turnovers inside their own 20.
#20 Pittsburgh 41, South Florida 14, FINAL
---PITTSBURGH-Bill Stull threw for two touchdowns, Dion Lewis ran for two and No. 20 Pitt scored on all five possessions in the first half to rout South Florida 41-14 on Saturday and extend its best start to a season in 27 years.
The Panthers (4-0 in Big East) are 7-1 for the first time since 1982 -- Dan Marino's senior season and the last time Pitt was ranked No. 1.
#22 Arizona 27, UCLA 13, FINAL
---TUCSON, Ariz.-Nick Foles threw two touchdown passes to Juron Criner, and Arizona (No. 22 BCS, NR AP) overcame five turnovers to defeat UCLA 27-13 on Saturday and keep pace in the
Nic Grigsby and Nick Booth each ran for a touchdown for the Wildcats (5-2, 3-1 Pac-10), who remain tied for second place.
#23 West Virginia 28, Connecticut 24, FINAL
---MORGANTOWN, W.Va.-Noel Devine's 56-yard touchdown run in the closing minutes lifted No. 22 West Virginia to a 28-24 win over Connecticut on Saturday in the Huskies' first game since the fatal stabbing of cornerback Jasper Howard.
Devine ran for 171 of his 178 yards in the second half as West Virginia (6-1, 2-0 Big East) overcame the inspired play of the Huskies (4-3, 1-2). Jarrett Brown ran for a score and threw foranother for the Mountaineers.
#24 South Carolina 14, Vanderbilt 10, FINAL
---COLUMBIA, S.C.-Stephen Garcia threw two touchdown passes and No. 23 South Carolina ended Vanderbilt's two-game series win streak-barely-with a 14-10 victory Saturday night.
The Gamecocks (6-2, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) played as flat as they did the past two years against Vanderbilt (2-6, 0-5). Only thanks to Garcia and his young receivers, this time it didn't cost them the win.
#25 Kansas 13, Oklahoma 35, FINAL
---LAWRENCE, Kan.-Chris Brown scored three touchdowns, and No. 25 Oklahoma throttled Todd Reesing and the nation's second-leading offense en route to a 35-13 victory Saturday over No. 24 Kansas.
The Sooners (4-3, 2-1 Big 12) intercepted Kansas' career passing leader on the Jayhawks' first three possessions. Dominique Franks set the defensive tone with an 85-yard touchdown return of the second interception of the NCAA's fifth-leading passer.
