Baylor fans line up for T-shirts supporting Art Briles

Art Briles is gone but not forgotten by Baylor fans.

T-shirts supporting the former Bears football coach were being sold at McLane Stadium before the school's game against TCU.

And by the looks of things there was plenty of interest in the shirts that had the moniker CAB (coach Art Briles).

There was a report a Waco police officer removed a TCU fan attempting to take a picture of the shirt. That was disputed by the police department.

Briles was fired in May amid a sexual assault scandal involving football players. Two were found guilty in separate cases.

After months of silence, the regents last week released more findings of the investigation, telling the Wall Street Journal that 17 women reported sexual or domestic assaults by 19 football players, including four alleged gang rapes, since 2011.

The new information came in partial response to an interview with former Baylor Title IX coordinator Patty Crawford that is scheduled to air on 60 Minutes Sports on Tuesday. In it Crawford details the institutional failures in the highest levels of the Baylor administration that prevented her from doing her job.
