HOUSTON - Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed guards Will Conroy and Garrett Temple to the team's training camp roster.? As per team policy, the terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
Conroy (6-2, 195, Washington) most recently played for the Albuquerque T-Birds in the NBA Development League for the 2008-09 season where he averaged 26.5 points and 8.0 assists in 49 games after joining the team the previous season for 14 games.?
Prior to that, he played in limited stints for the Memphis Grizzlies (three games) and Los Angeles Clippers (four games) during the 2006-07 NBA season.? Conroy started his NBA D-League career with Tulsa where he averaged 13.9 points and 8.6 assists over a two-year period with the 66ers.
Temple (6-6, 190, LSU) averaged 6.7 points and 3.6 assists during a four-year career at LSU.? During his senior campaign of 2008-09, he averaged 7.1 points and 3.8 assists.?
His senior season highlight included a season-best 21-point, seven-rebound performance in an 81-75 victory over SEC rival the Florida Gators.
