HOUSTON - The Houston Rockets will begin their eight-game preseason on Oct. 6 with a trip to San Antonio to take on the Spurs. The Rockets open their slate of preseason home games at Toyota Center on Monday, Oct. 12 when they host the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 p.m.
The Rockets will also hold two days of training camp in the Rio Grande Valley at the McAllen Convention Center on Oct. 4-5 prior to hosting an exhibition game against the Boston Celtics on Oct. 7 at Dodge Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. Houston's road schedule includes stops in Orlando on Oct. 9, Toronto on Oct. 15 and Indiana on Oct. 16. The Rockets close out the preseason with a pair of home games against Oklahoma City on Oct. 19 and Dallas on Oct. 23.
