LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas police have issued an arrest warrant for former Major League pitcher Shawn Chacon.
The 31-year-old former Astros is accused of owing the Ceasars Palace casino a $150,000 gambling debt.
Authorities say the one-time All-Star didn't pay back three gambling markers of $50,000 each back in March.
Chacon played for the Astros in 2008 but was suspended after he allegedly attacked General Manager Ed Wade. Witnesses said he choked Wade and threw him to the ground, but charges were never filed.
The incident ended Chacon's Major League career.
