Just days after the New York Daily News reported that Roger Clemens had a longtime love affair with a troubled country singer, more dirt has surfaced.

A former stripper told a Detroit radio station Friday that she also had an affair with Clemens.

The New York Post claims Clemens also fooled around with a former Big Apple bartender from Houston. Sources told the paper he paid for the woman's apartment in Houston and continued an affair with her after she moved to New York.

The woman, who now lives in Pennsylvania, refused to comment on the allegations.

The New York Daily News is reporting that Clemens had an affair with the ex-wife of golfer John Daly.

"Yeah, I've known Roger quite a while and we are friends," Paulette Dean Daly told the paper.

When asked about allegations of a romantic relationship she said, "You know what, I'm really uncomfortable talking about this. I'm just going to have to say no comment."

Earlier this week, The Daily News was the first to report that Clemens had a longtime affair with country singer Mindy McCready.

According to the newspaper, the affair began when McCready was just 15 and Clemens was 28.

Clemens attorney Rusty Hardin said the two were longtime friends, but denied an intimate relationship.

It's no secret that many professional athletes cheat on their wives. But Clemens may have set himself up for trouble when he filed a defamation suit against Brian McNamee, the former trainer who claims he injected Clemens with performance-enhancing drugs.

Legal experts say anyone who expects to win a defamation suit must have a spotless reputation.

Friends of Clemens are reportedly urging him to drop the McNamee lawsuit to try and stop the flood of rumors.

Meantime, the seven-time Cy Young winner is being investigated by the FBI on allegations he lied under oath to a Congressional committee investigating steroids in Major League Baseball.

Clemens, a married father of four, grew up in Houston and continues to make his home here.

He is not commenting on the recent allegations.
