HOUSTON – For the third time in franchise history, the Houston Texans hold the No. 1 overall selection in the NFL Draft. With it, the team hopes to add a franchise-caliber player as the Bill O’Brien era begins in Houston.
The Draft will begin Thursday, May 8 and continue for seven rounds over the course of three days. The first round begins at 7 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN and the NFL Network.
Watch KHOU 11 News beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday as Sports Director Bob Allen provides live coverage from the Texans Draft Party at NRG Stadium, formerly known as Reliant Stadium.
The second and third round of the Draft will be held Friday with coverage beginning at 6 p.m. The fourth through seventh rounds will be held Saturday with coverage beginning 11 a.m.
