There has been a lot of negative comments after Arian Foster admitted to taking money, while playing football at the University of Tennessee, but one person is taking back his criticism of the Houston Texans running back.
ESPN college basketball analyst Dick Vitale tweeted a message comparing Foster to a prostitute. Vitale later apologized for that remark.
Vitale tweeted his apology Saturday:
“My wife agrees with u that prostitute was a bad term to use -I was upset when reading tweet from @GreggDoyelCBS about Foster getting cash.”
Foster has argued that college athletes should get some kind of monetary compensation. He said he needed money to pay rent and buy food.
