HOUSTON – University of Houston sophomore guard Danuel House will be out indefinitely after recently suffering a knee injury, head coach James Dickey announced Monday.

House sat out the Cougars’ win against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday, a first during his collegiate career. He underwent successful arthroscopic surgery with team physician Dr. Walter Lowe on Monday afternoon and will then work through rehabilitation with the team medical staff.

House is expected to return to competition later this season. The Sugar Land, Texas, native ranks second on the Cougars with 15.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
