HOUSTON -- Just as the Chicago Bulls did, the Houston Rockets have put up a big welcome sign for free agent Carmelo Anthony.

The video boards on the Toyota Center early Wednesday showed images of Carmelo in a Rockets uniform -- just as the team prepares to make its pitch.

Clyde Drexler will reportedly be involved in the talks with Carmelo and was spotted arriving at the Toyota Center, too. Head coach Kevin McHale, James Harden, and Dwight Harden also assembled at the center.

Carmelo has been linked to the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, and Los Angeles Lakers as likely suitors this summer.

Carmelo's first stop was Tuesday in Chicago with the Bulls.

According to Marc Stein of ESPN.com, after he meets with the Rockets he'll stop by the Mavericks. He's expected to to visit the Lakers in Los Angeles some time next week as well.

Anthony, who maintains an offseason home in Los Angeles, is also expected to meet with the Los Angeles Lakers face-to-face next week.
