HOUSTON - The Bellaire Lady Cardinals softball team is having another great year and are looking to make some noise in the 2011 playoffs.
The team has five players that will be playing softball at the next level, most notably, pitcher/hitter Gabby Smith who is taking her talents to Austin and the University of Texas.
Gabby has a record of 26-1 with a 0.569 ERA and 224 strikeouts. However, she is as big of a force at the plate as the Cardinals lead-off hitter. Gabby is hitting .632 with 32 stolen bases and 3 homeruns.
