HOUSTON – Houston Texans rookie wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was forced to leave Saturday’s game against the Miami Dolphins because of a concussion.

The team made the announcement during the second quarter. Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said after the game that he expected Hopkins to be fine and on Sunday, he confirmed that.

"Hopkins is doing better today," Kubiak said. "We’ll start the protocol tomorrow, but he is doing better."

Hopkins, who had two catches for 22 yards, landed awkwardly on his head after catching a Case Keenum pass in the 2nd quarter.
