SUGAR LAND - Former MLB pitcher Scott Kazmir made his Sugar Land Skeeters debut on Sunday by pitching one inning in a 16-6 loss to the Bridgeport Bluefish.
Kazmir battled some injuries and control issues during the tail end of his tenure with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He was drafted in the first round out of Cy Falls High School back in 2004 by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
