MISSOURI CITY – Former Rice and NFL wide receiver Bert Emmanuel was a proud father on Wednesday as his daughter Sydney became the first athlete in Ridge Point High School history to sign a national letter of intent.

KHOU 11 Sports reporter Matt Musil caught up with the happy family.
