PEARLAND - The website TexasHSFootball.com is reporting that Pearland quarterback Trey Anderson is headed to Tyler Junior College to play football next season.
The website posted the news on its Twitter account on Monday night.
Anderson led the Oilers to the Class 5A, Division 1 Championship in a 28-24 victory over Euless Trinity up at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
The senior passed for 2,898 yards and 25 touchdowns with only 4 interceptions. The multi-talented quarterback was also a force on the ground as well racking up 442 yards and 6 touchdowns rushing.
The website’s Twitter post says Anderson will only play football while at Tyler Jr. College.
Earlier this month, Pearland running back Dustin Garrison committed to West Virginia.
