COLLEGE STATION – According to a report by KBTX-TV in College Station, The Texas A&M Board of Regents is expected to consider and possibly vote on the huge renovation project for Kyle Field as early as Wednesday.
Kyle Field is home to the Texas A&M Aggie football team.
When all is said and done, by 2015 the home of the 12th man could be around 102,000 seats at a cost of somewhere between $400 and $450 million.
To make room, G Rollie White Coliseum will be torn down, the stadium will have new lower stands, new scoreboards, new video screens, a new press box and they’re moving the actual field 18 feet south.
