Pam Oliver, Fox’s NFL sideline reporter, is a pro’s pro. And if you don’t believe me, just take a look at the way she handled getting hit in the face by a football on TV Sunday night.

Oliver, doing pregame work on the sideline before Colts-Giants, was the victim of an errant (?) throw by Indianapolis backup-to-the-backup quarterback Chandler Harnish.

The result was a football to the FACE.

Oliver got a hug from Harnish and an apology on Twitter.

Chandler Harnish (@C_Harnish)   - Would like to take this time to apologize to Pam Oliver, for the bad pass to the face.. Be expecting flowers in the mail soon! #ToughLady

That’s really nice of Harnish, but he should probably start worrying about making the team if he’s going to be that inaccurate in warmups.

Oliver worked as a sports reporter for KHOU 11 News before moving to the big leagues.
